The successful candidate will lead the surveying team and oversee all mapping, site layouts, and measurement activities to support engineering and construction goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead and manage the on-site surveying team, providing training and mentorship to junior surveyors and technicians.

• Technical Surveys: Conduct topographic, geodetic, and engineering surveys specifically for mining infrastructure.

• Site Planning: Prepare and verify precise site plans, maps, and construction layouts.

• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and contractors to provide accurate data for all construction activities.

• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate modern surveying instruments and equipment.

• Compliance: Ensure all activities align with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: * Minimum of 7–10 years in surveying.

  • At least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

  • Proven experience in mining or large-scale construction projects.

• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using modern surveying equipment (GPS, Total Station) and GIS software.

• Core Competencies: Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills coupled with excellent communication abilities.
