🎯 Key Responsibilities (Summary)
The Human Resources & Administration Officer will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to both HR and Administration functions within CAMCO EQUIPMENT (T) LIMITED. This includes ensuring efficient office operations, managing personnel matters, and upholding compliance with company and statutory regulations.
💼 Detailed Duties and Responsibilities
1. Human Resources (HR) Duties

Recruitment & Onboarding: Plan and coordinate all stages of the recruitment and selection process, including advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, conducting background checks, and preparing employment contracts for successful candidates.

Employee Records: Maintain and update all employee records, both physical and digital, ensuring confidentiality and 100% compliance with company and legal requirements.

Performance & Development: Assist in the implementation and monitoring of the Performance Appraisal System (PAS), track probation reviews, and coordinate staff training and development programs.

Payroll & Benefits: Process payroll inputs, supervise the preparation of earnings and deduction forms, and ensure the timely administration of employee benefits, including pension fund administration.

Employee Relations: Manage employee grievance and disciplinary processes, provide advice on labor laws and company policies, and facilitate a conducive working environment.

Policy Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to the Employment and Labor Relations Act (ELRA) and other relevant Tanzanian labor laws.
2. Administration (Admin) & Operations Duties

Office Management: Oversee the efficient daily running of the office, manage the office premises, and ensure all services (e.g., cleaning, maintenance) are carried out.

Travel & Logistics: Coordinate and manage all travel logistics for staff, including booking flights, accommodation, and meeting venues.

Inventory & Assets: Manage office inventory, ensure the proper control and maintenance of company assets, and track stock of office supplies and stationery.

Health & Safety (SHE): Ensure safety, health, and environmental standards are implemented and upheld, including conducting safety audits and fire drills, and coordinating compliance with OSHA standards.

Procurement: Assist in the procurement process, including obtaining quotations, reviewing service contracts, and ensuring compliance with financial policies.

Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual HR and Administration reports.
🎓 Qualifications and Experience

Academic: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of successful, relevant experience in an HR and Administration role, preferably in the machinery or equipment sector.

Skills: Strong understanding of Tanzanian labor laws and regulations, excellent command of MS Office and HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems), and demonstrated high integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
