Mkombozi Commercial Bank PLC (MKCB) is a Tanzanian commercial bank established in 2009 as an initiative of the Tanzania Episcopal Conference to support emerging businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). POSITION: ICT AUDIT OFFICER

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Actively engage and participate on IT Audit of all digital channels; mobile banking, agency banking, internet banking etc and serve as audit liaison person on the same area.

• Execute a high quality, risk-based audits of technology infrastructure, information security and business application system.

• Execute audit tests and identify issues and areas for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of information technology operations.

• Work with other audit team members in developing action plans to ensure risks are effectively mitigated, and f⁷ollow – up to determine adequacy of corrective actions.

• Carry out system related investigation and produce report.

• Test the adequacy and effectiveness of system controls in place and suggest appropriate measures for improvement.

• Perform data analytics to confirm completeness and accuracy of information processing and reports.

• Investigate and assess any incidents related to information security, data breaches, or ICT system failures.

Education and Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Accounting, Business or equivalent.

• A professional certification, such as, CISA, CIA, CISSP, or CISM.

• Experience with computer-assisted audit tools is a plus.

• At least 1 year of work experience, preferably in Audit Firm or Telecom Company (MNOs) with IT specialization or Internal Audit from reputable organization but with IT specialization.
