Position Overview
The ICT Officer II will support the availability, stability, security, and effective use of the Bank’s enterprise systems, Core Banking System, and ICT infrastructure.
The role involves providing operational support, system administration, system monitoring, incident resolution, and technical assistance to ensure the smooth operation of ICT systems in line with TADB business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
System Operations and Support
- Provide first- and second-level technical support for the Core Banking System and related enterprise applications.
- Support user operations and system functionality across enterprise systems and core banking platforms.
System Monitoring and Maintenance
- Monitor daily system operations, including:
- Batch jobs
- End-of-day processes
- System performance
- Assist with system configuration, parameter setup, and routine maintenance.
System Upgrades and Testing
- Participate in system upgrades, patches, releases, and testing activities.
- Support implementation of approved system changes and upgrades.
Data Integrity and System Security
- Ensure enterprise system integrity, including:
- System backups
- Data reconciliations
- Maintain access controls, password policies, and system security standards.
Incident Management
- Investigate and resolve system incidents and service requests.
- Provide timely technical support to minimize system downtime.
Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain accurate ICT operational documentation and user guides.
- Ensure system operations comply with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Other Responsibilities
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as:
- PMP
- ITIL
- Microsoft Certifications
- Linux Certifications
(These will be considered an added advantage.)
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in ICT operations or system administration.
