Uchumi Commercial Bank Limited (UCB Ltd) invites applications from qualified and experienced Tanzanian professionals for the following positions:


1. Business Development and Marketing Manager

Role Summary:
Responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion, and brand positioning by leading four units: Marketing, Alternative Delivery Channels (ADCs), Bancassurance, and Treasury.

Reporting To: Head of Business Development and Marketing

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Accountancy, Finance, or Entrepreneurship
  • At least 5 years’ experience in balance sheet growth, focusing on CASA (Current Account Savings Account)

2. Risk and Compliance Officer

Role Summary:
Oversees the enterprise-wide risk management and compliance framework, integrating it into strategic planning and operational activities.

Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics, Commerce, Actuarial Science, Risk Management, or Statistics
  • At least 4 years’ experience in banking or financial institutions, including 1 year in a senior role

3. Digital Marketing and Public Relations Officer

Role Summary:
Manages digital marketing initiatives and PR activities to enhance brand visibility and protect the bank’s reputation.

Reporting To: Business Development and Marketing Manager

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Journalism, or Business Administration
  • 2–3 years’ experience in digital marketing or PR, preferably in financial services

4. Alternative Delivery Channels (ADC) Officer

Role Summary:
Supports growth and management of digital platforms (ATMs, POS, Mobile/Internet Banking, Agency Banking) and manages merchant portfolios.

Reporting To: Business Development and Marketing Manager

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Banking, Finance, or related fields
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in banking operations, digital banking, or merchant acquiring
