The organization works to prevent lifelong disabilities and runs extensive Maternal and Newborn Health Care (MNHC) programs, including obstetric fistula repair services.
Its Maternity and Newborn Wing serves as a referral center for high-risk and emergency deliveries across **Dar es Salaam and the Eastern Zone of Tanzania.
To strengthen its Human Resource Department, CCBRT is seeking an energetic and analytical HR professional to support business units with comprehensive HR services.
Position Summary
The Junior Human Resource Business Partner (JHRBP) supports the effective delivery of HR services using the HR Business Partnering approach.
The role focuses on providing strategic and operational HR support to departments, ensuring effective staff management, policy implementation, and compliance with organizational HR procedures.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy and Advisory
- Assess departmental needs and apply CCBRT’s HR strategy, policies, rules, and regulations.
- Contribute to the development of internal HR procedures.
- Provide solutions to complex HR issues affecting staff and departments.
Staff Management Support
- Deliver value-added HR services to line managers and employees.
- Work closely with managers on staff management matters and organizational HR initiatives.
HR Operations
Handle day-to-day HR matters for assigned departments, including:
- HR administration and compliance
- Leave management
- Performance management processes
- Recruitment and selection activities
- Training needs assessment
- Expatriate management
- Disciplinary procedures and support
Payroll and HR Systems
- Assist with payroll administration.
- Support the implementation and management of the HR Information System (HRIS).
Qualifications and Work Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a business environment.
- Experience in:
- Performance analysis and reporting
- Primary data collection
- Designing forms and conducting data analysis
- Payroll administration
- Expatriate management processes (e.g., visas, work permits, residence permits)
Skills and Competencies
The ideal candidate should demonstrate:
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other word processing software
- Strong analytical and evaluation skills
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and client-oriented communication skills
- Proficiency in English and Swahili
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
