About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Junior Interior Designer to support our design team across multiple projects.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, build technical and professional skills, and gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced design studio.
The position is admin- and organization-heavy, forming the backbone of smooth project delivery, while also offering exposure to the creative design process.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Administrative Support
- Assist with day-to-day project coordination and documentation
- Maintain organized project files (drawings, specifications, samples, quotes, invoices)
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and approvals
- Prepare schedules, spreadsheets, and order trackers
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and consultants
- Assist with purchase orders, delivery tracking, and follow-ups
Design Support
- Support senior designers with drawings, mood boards, and presentations
- Assist with sourcing materials, furniture, lighting, and finishes
- Help compile specifications and FF&E schedules
- Take site meeting notes and assist with follow-ups
Studio Support
- Help maintain studio systems and workflows
- Support internal organization and process improvements
- Assist with general studio administration
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design or related field (strongly encouraged)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe, Excel/Google Sheets (or willingness to learn)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
