About Zuri Zanzibar

Zuri Zanzibar is a design-driven luxury eco-resort set within a complex tropical coastal environment. We are seeking an experienced Landscape Manager to take operational responsibility for maintaining our established landscape concept and ensuring daily quality control across all outdoor areas of the resort.

This is a hands-on operational management role, reporting to the Executive Maintenance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of a 30,000+ plant ecosystem
• Supervise daily landscape and irrigation operations
• Ensure quality control for pruning, planting, and maintenance standards
• Manage seasonal irrigation adjustments
• Lead and supervise a team of approximately 25–40 staff
• Maintain visual standards and clear view corridors
• Operate within approved budgets
• Spend a minimum of 60% of working time in the field

Note: This role focuses on maintaining an existing landscape concept, not developing new design strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5–8 years of hands-on landscape maintenance experience
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems
• Proven experience supervising operational teams
• Structured, practical, and field-oriented work approach
• Good communication skills in English
• Experience in tropical or coastal environments (advantage)
• Experience in hospitality or resort settings (advantage)
