Qualifications

  • Age: Preferably between 22-35 years

  • Education: Bachelor in Animal science and production

  • Education: Bachelor in Agribusiness


Key Responsibilities

  • Poultry Care: Manage and oversee all aspects of poultry care, including feeding and medication.

  • Health & Safety: Ensure poultry housing is clean and meets all health and safety standards.

  • Medical Oversight: Monitor animal health, follow health plans, and administer vaccinations as needed.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of poultry health and growth.

  • Operations Management: Oversee the packaging and shipping of hatching eggs and order supplies/equipment as needed.

  • Team Leadership: Manage farm workers, including training and supervision.

  • Facility Maintenance: Plan for clean down and pre-placement activities.

  • Strategic Growth: Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with government regulations and health and safety standards.

  • General Duties: Any other duties pertinent to the role that may be assigned by the supervisor.
