Job Purpose

The Manager – Infrastructure Security is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the bank’s infrastructure security capabilities.

This role ensures the protection of:

• Networks
• Databases
• Virtualization platforms
• Communication systems

Across all corporate and branch environments.

The position oversees a broad range of security domains, ensuring:

• Alignment with cybersecurity policies
• Compliance with regulatory requirements
• Protection of critical systems and sensitive data

Key Responsibilities

1. Email & Communication Security

• Manage email security solutions:
  • Anti-phishing controls
  • DMARC, SPF, DKIM configurations
• Protect against spoofing and phishing attacks

---

2. Network & Infrastructure Security

• Lead network security operations:
  • Firewall management (NGFW)
  • Rule enforcement and audits
• Implement network segmentation strategies
• Manage:
  • Network Detection & Response (NDR)
  • Network Access Control (NAC)
• Oversee DDoS protection systems
• Secure remote access for staff and third parties

3. Virtualization & Systems Security

• Secure virtualization environments:
  • Hypervisors
  • Virtual machines
• Ensure systems are hardened, monitored, and compliant

---

4. Data Protection & Database Security

• Manage database security:
  • Database Activity Monitoring (DAM)
  • Database firewalls
• Oversee data protection measures:
  • Encryption (data at rest & in transit)
  • Data masking and tokenization
• Identify and secure sensitive data locations
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations

5. Backup & Recovery Security

• Manage Air Gap backup solutions
• Ensure critical data is:
  • Isolated from networks
  • Recoverable during cyber incidents

---

6. Web & Application Security

• Manage Web Application Firewall (WAF)
• Protect applications from:
  • SQL injection
  • Cross-site scripting (XSS)
  • Application-layer DDoS attacks

---

7. PKI & Cryptography

• Administer Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
• Manage SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle:
  • Issuance
  • Renewal
  • Compliance with standards

---

8. Incident Response & Monitoring

• Act as primary contact for ICT security incidents
• Coordinate:
  • Investigations
  • Forensic analysis
  • Root cause analysis
• Ensure timely escalation and resolution

---

9. Vendor & Security Operations Management

• Manage vendors and security tools lifecycle:
  • Licensing
  • Upgrades
  • Patching
• Ensure solutions are scalable and effective

---

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in:
  • Computer Science
  • Cybersecurity
  • Software Engineering
  • Or related field

---

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years in a supervisory/managerial role in:
  • Security operations
  • IT infrastructure
  • Cybersecurity teams

---

Technical Knowledge

• Strong expertise in:
  • Network security (NGFW, IDS/IPS, NAC, NDR, VPN)
  • Email security (DMARC, SPF, DKIM)
  • PKI and SSL certificate management
  • Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
  • Database security (DAM, database firewalls)
• Familiarity with:
  • Encryption technologies
  • Data masking & tokenization
  • Virtualization security
  • Air Gap backup solutions
• Knowledge of frameworks:
  • NIST
  • ISO 27001
  • PCI DSS
