Job Summary
To implement the Markets Sales business strategy in alignment with the Head of Markets Sales, ensuring compliance with Markets Sales policies, procedures, and Group values.
Key Responsibilities
1. Markets Sales Dealing (80%)
- Support development and implementation of new products under guidance of the Head of Markets Sales
- Implement Fixed Income sales business for Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs), including:
- Client onboarding
- Collaboration with regional FI sales teams to close deals
- Support rollout of Risk Management Products (RMPs), including:
- Assisting in approval processes
- Identifying opportunities and closing deals
- Ensure all branch FX transactions are managed through the FX trading desk
- Act as the main point of contact for internal and external Markets Sales clients
- Manage Direct Dealing Mandate (DDM) client portfolio:
- Maintain daily client engagement
- Conduct regular client meetings
- Liaise with Relationship Managers
- Manage assigned client portfolio and support team portfolios when required
- Drive business growth by:
- Spending at least 50% of time engaging clients
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Promoting NBC product offerings
- Expanding the client base (financial institutions and investors)
- Supporting Business Banking initiatives
- Conducting joint client visits with Corporate teams
- Achieve sustainable portfolio growth with focus on customer satisfaction and financial performance
- Support the Head of Markets Sales in achieving strategic objectives
2. Reporting (5%)
- Prepare weekly reports on client growth, volumes, and profitability
- Provide monthly management information on portfolio performance
- Support ad-hoc reporting requests
3. Risk Management (10%)
- Maintain a strong compliance culture
- Adhere to all bank policies and procedures
- Ensure all deals comply with market risk limits, counterparty limits, and dealer mandates
- Deliver high-quality service to mitigate reputational risk
4. Personal Development (5%)
- Actively develop technical and soft skills
- Identify and propose relevant training opportunities
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, Management Studies, or related field
Experience
- Experience in a similar role at a junior specialist level
