Position Overview

We are seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, operate, and optimize the organization’s network infrastructure. This role ensures high availability, performance, scalability, and security of data and telecommunications networks, aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy network solutions, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and IP/MPLS networks.
• Support network expansion projects, upgrades, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other network appliances.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal service delivery.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network incidents and outages.
• Implement preventive maintenance and continuous improvement measures.
• Enforce network security controls, including firewalls, VPNs, access control, and segmentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and applicable regulatory standards.
• Support vulnerability assessments and remediation activities.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and configurations.
• Liaise with vendors, service providers, and contractors for network-related services.
• Participate in on-call support and planned maintenance activities as required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management to support network reliability and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in network engineering or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with routing and switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and network monitoring tools.
• Experience in ISP, telecom, or enterprise network environments is an advantage.
