SBA Communications, an S&P 500 leader in wireless infrastructure, is seeking a high-level Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst. This role focuses on monitoring the power energy portfolio across telecom sites, ensuring maximum uptime and managing critical maintenance within strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Incident Management

Shift Supervision: Oversee 24×7 NOC shift operations; assess and prioritize incidents under high-pressure conditions.

Process Integrity: Maintain the quality of the Incident Management process, including ticketing, escalations, and customer communications.

Service Restoration: Lead restoration efforts by coordinating with service centers, vendors, and third-party service providers.

Outage Management: Manage uptime, service availability, and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for power system failures.
Technical Oversight

Identify and capture the impact and urgency of network alarms.

Ensure efficient restoration of various site power systems.

Availability: Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation with peers.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
-
Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Telecommunications, or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: 3+ years in the Telecom industry, specifically working with equipment such as batteries, rectifiers, fibers, and RF systems.

Language: English proficiency required; Portuguese bilingualism is preferred.
Technical Skills

Deep understanding of NOC operations and Incident Management workflows.

Familiarity with power infrastructure in a telecom environment.

Manual dexterity for data input and equipment operation.
Physical & Environmental Requirements

Flexibility: Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 environment.

Stamina: Ability to sit for up to 90% of the day; ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsiveness: Professional verbal communication for high-stakes telephone and in-person coordination.
