1. Position: Assistant Nursing Officer (ANO)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and vital signs monitoring.
• Administer medications and perform basic treatments under the guidance of senior staff.
• Performing various medical procedures within your level.
• Educating and counseling patients about health care plan and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and prepare reports as per regulations.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth delivery of patient’s care.
• Maintain infectious prevention control (IPC), 5S and hygiene management of patient care units.
• Provide physical and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Supervise junior nursing staff and assist in managing duty rosters.
• Escorting patients during referrals.
• Performing other duties assigned by your supervisor.

Qualification and Skills Required

• A diploma in Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized institution.
• Registration with Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC) is mandatory.
• Possess a valid practicing license.
• A minimum working experience of two years.
• Experience in occupational health/industrial medicine.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform basic treatment under the guidance of senior staffs.
• Observing and documenting patient conditions, vital signs and any changes in their health status.
• Performing various medical procedures within your level.
• Educating patients about their conditions, medications and self-care strategies.
• Maintain infectious prevention control (IPC), 5S and hygiene management of patient care units.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth delivery of patient’s care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and prepare reports as per regulations.
• Provide physical and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Escorting patients during referrals.
• Performing other duties assigned by your supervisor.
