Purpose of the Role
To operate the processing plant (Crushing, Milling, CIL, Elution Circuit) and associated equipment safely and efficiently. The goal is to maximize plant performance and gold recovery while strictly adhering to environmental, health, and safety standards.
Key Accountabilities

Operations: Operate, inspect, and monitor processing equipment (crushing, grinding, gravity, CIL, elution, and reagents) to ensure maximum ore recovery.

Safety: Maintain a proactive safety culture, identify hazards, and adhere to GGM’s “Vital Behaviours.”

Maintenance: Diagnose equipment issues requiring repair and report faults immediately to prevent deterioration.

Shutdowns: Safely isolate processing equipment for both planned and unplanned maintenance shutdowns.

Sampling: Conduct regular sampling and measurements as part of the mineral processing workflow.

Teamwork: Assist in developing the competencies of fellow employees as directed.
Requirements & Qualifications
| Category | Requirement |
| Education | Ordinary Level (O-Level) Secondary Education or higher. |
| Experience | Minimum 1 year in a processing plant (Gold production preferred). |
| Technical Skills | Knowledge of Crushing, Milling, CIL, and Elution circuits. |
| IT Skills | Proficient in basic computer applications. |
| Languages | Fluency in English or Swahili. |
