Position Summary
DOCG, the main contractor for the Marine Terminal and Tank under the EACOP Project, is seeking a highly skilled and internationally qualified Planning Engineer to join our dynamic project team in Tanga.
Key Responsibilities
-
Schedule Management: Develop, update, and manage the project schedule using Primavera P6 and other planning tools.

Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, including S-curves, histograms, and look-ahead schedules.

Coordination: Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure accurate progress tracking.

Risk Management: Identify risks, delays, and schedule impacts, and develop proper mitigation plans.

Meetings: Participate in meetings with management, subcontractors, and the client.

Monitoring: Monitor project milestones, critical paths, and forecasted completion timelines.
Required Qualifications & Experience
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, or a related Engineering field.

Experience: 7–10+ years’ experience in planning & scheduling for large construction or oil & gas projects.

Certifications (Internationally recognized certifications are required, such as):
-
PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional)
-
PMP (Project Management Professional)
-
AACE-PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional)
-
AACE-CCP (Cost Professional) is an added advantage.

Software Skills: Strong command of Primavera P6, MS Project, and other planning software.

Desirable: Experience working in multicultural and multinational project environments is an added advantage.
