Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and monitor procurement plans in line with company needs.

  • Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to obtain quality goods/services at competitive prices.

  • Process purchase requisitions, POs, and related documents.

  • Oversee receiving, storage, recording and issuance of materials.

  • Enforce stock control procedures to prevent losses, expiries and stock-outs.

  • Ensure accurate stock records in the inventory management system (manual or ERP).

  • Prepare periodic procurement and inventory reports.

  • Ensure transparency and adherence to policies and regulations.

  • Supervise procurement and store staff.

Key Skills

  • Strong ability to manage tasks, prioritize work and maintain efficient workflows.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with internal teams and suppliers.

  • High level of accuracy in documentation, record-keeping and inventory tracking.

  • Competent in negotiating with suppliers to secure favorable terms.

  • Proactive in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.

  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain or related field.

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in procurement and supply chain management within the construction industry or similar fast-paced environments.

  • Possession of a PSPTB professional certification will be considered an asset.
