Taifa Gas Tanzania Limited (TAIFA GAS) started as Mihan Gas Company Limited (MIHAN GAS). The company was incorporated in the United Republic of Tanzania in 2005 with certificate of incorporation number 52508, as a limited company under the Companies Ordinance (Cap 212), The Company spent two years in its initial business startup investment in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and eventually commenced business in 2008. In 2017, the company was acquired by new shareholders and subsequently, in 2019, the company name changed from Mihan Gas Company Limited to Taifa Gas Company Limited to reflect company’s new Vision and Mission. Taifa Gas Tanzania Limited operates under Taifa Gas and Mihan Gas brands as observed through its LPG cylinders and other related equipment.
Taifa Gas has other 20 operating depots in Mwanza, Mbeya, Moshi, Dodoma, Singida, Morogoro, Iringa, Kahama, Kigoma, Songea, Njombe, Manyara, Bukoba, Geita, Tabora, Musoma, Arusha, Sumbawanga, Tanga and Shinyanga. Two depots Mwanga and Lindi are in final stages of construction.

Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

15+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector with at least 10 years of project management experience in LNG projects.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of environmental policies and clean energy initiatives.

Passionate about environmental sustainability.

Culturally sensitive with the ability to work in diverse communities.

Self-motivated and results-oriented.

High level of confidentiality.

Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
