Vacancy Announcement: Records and Archives Management Officer
Position: Records and Archives Management Officer Summary: We are seeking a qualified and organized Records and Archives Management Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, organizing, and safeguarding the Company’s records and ensuring proper documentation control in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement records management systems and procedures

Organize, classify, and maintain both physical and electronic records
-
Ensure proper storage, retrieval, and disposal of records in accordance with company policy and legal requirements

Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information
-
Monitor compliance with records retention schedules
-
Facilitate document tracking and archiving processes
-
Provide guidance to staff on proper records handling procedures
Minimum Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Records and Archives Management, Information Management, Library Studies, or related field
-
Minimum of 2 years proven experience in records or archives management
-
Knowledge of records management principles and regulatory requirements
-
Strong organizational and documentation skills
-
High level of integrity and confidentiality

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic document management systems
Added Advantage:

Professional certification in Records and Archives Management
-
Experience working in a corporate or regulated environment
