Regional Quality Control Technician

Job Recruitment: Regional Quality Control Technician

SimbaNET, a member of the Wananchi Group—a regional provider of Internet, Data, and Multimedia Communication Solutions—is seeking to recruit a Regional Quality Control Technician.


About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Quality & SLA Management: Fully responsible for managing service quality control (QC) and service level agreements (SLAs) with contractors and internal teams.

  • Operational Oversight: Ensuring all work orders for subscriber installation, site visitation, support, and network maintenance are implemented timely, efficiently, and within SLA standards.

  • Collaboration: Working closely with customer experience, support, and commercial teams to meet business expectations regarding acquisition, retention, and growth.

  • Accountability: Championing service quality assurance (QA) and contractor accountability, focusing on strict adherence to SLAs, turnaround times (TAT), and quality standards.


Qualification & Experience

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet these requirements:

  • Education: Bsc. IT/Telecom.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of field experience in an ISP or Telecom environment.

  • Certifications: Fiber/FTTx Certification.

  • Mobility: Must be able and licensed to drive a vehicle and ride a motorcycle.
