Agency Support Consultant – Public Policy & Regulatory Engagement (Tanzania)
Background & Purpose
We are seeking experienced agencies to provide strategic support in public policy, regulatory engagement, and government relations in Tanzania. The selected agency will support our initiatives in the transport, mobility, and digital economy sectors, facilitating effective engagement with regulators and government stakeholders.
Agency Requirements
Interested agencies should demonstrate:
- Proven experience in government relations and public affairs in Tanzania.
- Strong and extensive ties within transport, tech, and mobility regulatory bodies in Tanzania.
- Deep understanding of Tanzania’s transport, digital economy, or platform regulation landscape.
- Established networks within relevant ministries and regulatory agencies.
- Experience supporting multinational companies or regulated industries.
- Strong policy analysis, strategic advisory, and advocacy capabilities.
- Experience in mobility, transport, technology, or infrastructure sectors is an added advantage.
Proposal Requirements
Proposals should be maximum 4 pages (excluding annexes) and include the following sections:
1. Agency Background & Experience
- Overview of the agency.
- Relevant experience in government engagement and regulatory advocacy.
- Examples of similar mandates handled in Tanzania.
2. Proposed Approach
- Methodology for stakeholder engagement and advocacy.
- Initial assessment of key regulatory priorities in Tanzania’s mobility sector.
- Proposed engagement structure and milestones for the first 6 months.
- Risk management approach.
3. Team Composition
- Key personnel assigned to the account.
- Relevant experience and roles of team members.
- Level of senior leadership involvement.
4. Budget Proposal
- Monthly retainer structure (if applicable).
- Breakdown of services covered.
- Any additional or variable cost components.
