Role Overview
The Sales and Marketing Officer will be responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening customer relationships, increasing brand visibility, and expanding market share within the assigned region.
The role requires a proactive professional with strong capabilities in lead generation, deal closure, and strategic marketing support.
Key Responsibilities
- Create brand awareness and generate interest in company products and services
- Implement marketing initiatives using content marketing, social media, SEO, events, and email campaigns
- Generate, qualify, and manage sales leads
- Assess customer interest, needs, and purchasing capacity
- Conduct outreach activities, product presentations, and demonstrations
- Negotiate, close deals, and achieve or exceed sales targets
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Implement customer loyalty and retention programs
- Collaborate with teams to set shared sales goals and track performance metrics
- Collect and utilize sales feedback to improve marketing strategies
- Conduct market research and prepare sales reports and forecasts
- Continuously improve sales and marketing approaches based on customer feedback and industry trends
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years in sales and marketing
- Experience in the mining or chemical industry is an added advantage
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet set targets
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Mobility: Willingness to work in the assigned duty station
