Key Responsibilities

Price Analysis & Decision Support

Ensure all business cases are properly validated within agreed timelines.
Support project owners in evaluating the economic benefits of new initiatives.
Track post-project implementation to ensure anticipated returns are achieved.
Prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly performance reports to support management decision-making.

Performance Management & Reporting

Conduct monthly reviews and reporting on key business metrics (volumes, revenues, and customer base) using the Management Analysis and Performance Pack (MAPA).
Prepare monthly performance reports for senior management presentations.
Fulfill legal and regulatory reporting requirements to statutory and regulatory bodies.
Provide quarterly country updates covering macro-economic, political, and industry trends for central planning purposes.
Benchmark business performance against competitors and industry standards.
Perform trend and variance analysis to identify risks and opportunities.

Financial Analysis & Profitability

Provide monthly financial commentaries with inputs from various departments, highlighting revenue and cost impacts.
Monitor performance against budget, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct product and segment profitability analysis.
Assist in preparation of monthly revenue bucket P&L analysis.
Perform in-depth analysis of key drivers affecting price, cost, and volume.
Conduct distribution margin analysis.
Analyze agent, AMB, and kiosk site performance.

Investment & Cost Management

Enhance commercial awareness of the financial impact of investment and budget decisions, including cash flow and return on investment (ROI).
Ensure ROI metrics are clearly defined and optimized for all asset categories.
Prepare monthly profitability and asset quality analysis reports.
Ensure all Opex and Capex expenditure requests are within approved budgets or have obtained the necessary approvals.
Identify causes of variances against plan and propose remedial actions.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational & Professional Qualifications

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a strong track record in senior FP&A roles.
Graduate degree in a relevant field.

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience within a multinational finance function.
Experience in the Telecommunications and/or FinTech industry is highly desirable.
Proven experience working in fast-growing business environments.
Hands-on experience with financial reporting and FP&A tools, preferably Oracle.

Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (Business, Commercial, Marketing, or Financial Analysis).
High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
