STAMIGOLD Company Limited – Biharamulo Mine is a subsidiary of the State Mining Corporation (STAMICO), operating a gold mine located in the Biharamulo Forest Reserve, South West of Mwanza in Kagera Region. In order to run the mine effectively and efficiently, the Company invites applications from qualified Tanzanians to fill the existing vacancy detailed below.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage all procurement and disposal by tender activities of the procuring entity, except adjudication and the award of contracts.
• Support the functioning of the Tender Board and implement its decisions.
• Liaise directly with the Authority on matters within the jurisdiction of the Procurement Management section.
• Review and draft the Annual Procurement Plan (APP) and prepare draft Annual Procurement Plans (AAP).
• Check and prepare Annual Statements of Requirements.
• Prepare tendering documents and advertisements of tender opportunities.
• Issue approved contract documents.
• Coordinate approved performance of the Goods Inspection and Acceptance Committee.
• Prepare reports on procurement and records.
• Develop individual objectives, targets, and performance record standards as part of the individual performance agreement in consultation with the immediate superior.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Logistics Management or equivalent.
• Possession of Certified Procurement and Supplies Professional (CPSP) qualification.
• Registered by the Procurement Professional Board in an approved category.
• At least 5 years of working experience, of which 2 years must be at a senior level.
• Experience in the mining industry will be an added advantage.
• Must be computer literate.
