Purpose: To lead mobile phone after-sales operations, technical troubleshooting, and process optimization for the phone product line in Tanzania.
Key Responsibilities
1. Service Delivery & Technical Expertise
-
End-to-End Returns: Manage the full lifecycle of returned mobile devices (diagnosis, repair, refurbishment, or recycling).

Warranty Management: Ensure timely resolution of warranty claims and service tickets.

Root Cause Analysis: Analyze hardware/software failures to identify trends and reduce “No Trouble Found” (NTF) rates.
2. Process Excellence & Innovation

SOP Development: Create and enforce Standard Operating Procedures for all after-sales activities.

Automation: Lead projects to automate processes and enhance the customer support portal.
-
Analytics: Produce monthly reports on warranty trends to drive proactive technical solutions.
3. Partner & Vendor Management

Training: Certify Sun King Service Centers (SSCs) and partner staff on product knowledge and repair techniques.

Sustainability: Manage relationships with refurbishment and e-waste vendors, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Contracting: Negotiate Terms of Engagement (TOE) and oversee vendor invoicing/payments.
4. Reporting & KPIs

Performance Tracking: Develop dashboards to monitor Turnaround Time (TAT), NTF rates, and partner efficiency.

Strategy: Provide regular operational performance updates to the After-Sales Manager.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience

Education: Degree in Engineering or a related field (Advanced degree preferred).

Professional Background: 5+ years of technical after-sales experience in the mobile phone industry (e.g., manufacturer or major service center).

Specialization: Strong expertise in mobile hardware repair, troubleshooting, and quality control.
