St. Joseph University in Tanzania (SJUIT) invites applications from suitably qualified, competent, and experienced Tanzanians to fill various academic positions at the St. Joseph University College of Health and Allied Sciences, Boko Dovya Campus, Dar es Salaam.
Categories of Academic Staff & Required Qualifications
1. Tutorial Assistant / Tutor
- Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field
- First Class or Upper Second Class
- Minimum GPA 3.5 or B+ grade
2. Assistant Lecturer
- Master’s Degree in the relevant field from a recognized university with a minimum GPA 4.0 or B+, and
- Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field (First or Upper Second Class) with a minimum GPA 3.5 or B+
3. Lecturer / Senior Lecturer
- PhD in the relevant field or MMed Degree or equivalent with a minimum GPA 4.0, and
- Master’s Degree in the relevant field with a minimum GPA 4.0 or B+, and
- Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field (First or Upper Second Class) with a minimum GPA 3.5 or B+
Responsibilities (Assistant Lecturer / Lecturer / Senior Lecturer)
- Teach students in relevant academic programmes
- Conduct research to advance knowledge in respective fields
- Offer consultancy and participate in outreach and public service
