About the Role
My Way Trips is seeking a professional and experienced Travel Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in airline ticketing and proficiency with Global Distribution Systems (GDS), specifically Amadeus and Travelpack.
The Travel Consultant will provide expert travel advice, manage bookings, and ensure a seamless travel experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle flight reservations, ticketing, re-issuance, and cancellations using GDS systems
- Provide professional travel advice and solutions tailored to client needs
- Book domestic and international airline tickets
- Manage travel itineraries and ensure accuracy in reservations
- Assist clients with fare quotations and travel options
- Handle customer inquiries and deliver excellent customer service
- Ensure compliance with airline rules, policies, and ticketing procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in airline ticketing and travel consultancy
- Proficient in Amadeus and Travelpack GDS systems
- Strong knowledge of airline fares, routes, and ticketing procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple bookings simultaneously
- Diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or related field is an advantage
