UNDERWRITTING MANAGER – GENERAL INSURANCE

UNDERWRITTING MANAGER – GENERAL INSURANCE
(DAR ES SALAAM)
RESPONSIBILITIES, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Responsible for leading and managing the general insurance underwriting function to ensure sound risk selection, profitable portfolio growth, policy compliance, and delivery of quality underwriting services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance and Risk Management, Actuarial Science or other related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in the same role.
- Certification in Insurance.
- Reinsurance or underwriting certifications.
- Actuarial exposure (added advantage).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and management skills.
- Strong technical knowledge of the insurance sector.
- Reinsurance or underwriting certifications.
