African View is a fast-growing hospitality company operating luxury tented camps and lodges in Tanzania. We are currently seeking experienced, dedicated, and professional individuals to join our team in the following positions:
1. Tented Lodge Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall operations of the lodge or camp.
- Ensure high standards of guest service and customer satisfaction.
- Manage staff, including recruitment, training, and performance supervision.
- Control budgets, stock levels, and operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with the head office regarding reporting and operational matters.
- Perform administrative duties and ensure quality control in all departments.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in lodge or camp management.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working in remote or safari camp operations is an added advantage.
- Computer literacy is required.
2. Professional Waiter/Waitress
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent food and beverage service to guests.
- Take guest orders accurately and serve meals professionally.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper setup of dining areas.
- Maintain high standards of customer care and hospitality.
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Good communication skills (English required; additional languages are an advantage).
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Basic computer knowledge is required.
