Key Responsibilities

Ensure safe work practices by attending compulsory safety courses and meetings, using required PPE, reporting incidents/accidents, and fully complying with Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Operate pressure-washing equipment on assigned items in accordance with wash bay procedures.
Clean truck interiors as per approved wash bay processes.
Liaise with the supervisor to receive work assignments and discuss daily operational requirements, achievements, and improvement opportunities.
Perform daily cleaning of designated areas without disrupting site operations.
Ensure correct usage of cleaning chemicals and detergents in the prescribed proportions for cleaning and disinfection.
Apply appropriate cleaning methods including washing, sweeping, dusting, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing as directed by the supervisor.
Empty waste bins and manage refuse effectively by storing it in designated disposal areas.
Wash, sanitize, and maintain all cleaning equipment and tools provided.
Secure, use, and return room and office keys obtained from the Site Services Foreman’s office.
Assist with movement and storage of raw materials and equipment as required.
Request cleaning supplies from the supervisor in advance to avoid service disruption.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the role.

Qualification Requirements

Secondary school education
Sound knowledge of mining safety regulations and best practices

Experience and Competencies

Working knowledge of equipment safety standards
Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and associated equipment
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in general maintenance practices and techniques
