I&M Bank is a regional commercial bank in East Africa, headquartered in Kenya and part of I&M Group PLC.
It began in 1974 as Investments & Mortgages (I&M), originally a private finance company in Nairobi. In 1996, it became a fully licensed commercial bank, expanding into retail, SME, and corporate banking.
From the 2000s onward, it grew through acquisitions and regional expansion into countries such as Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, and Mauritius, building a strong East African footprint.
Today, I&M Bank focuses on corporate, SME, and retail banking, with a strong emphasis on digital banking and regional growth.

Drive branch business growth, sales, cross-selling, and customer acquisition.

Lead the branch team to achieve business and performance targets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

Drive customer retention and deliver exceptional customer experience.

Manage the branch’s liability portfolio and promote low-cost deposits.

Ensure compliance with banking regulations, KYC requirements, and internal policies.

Identify and mitigate branch risks while driving timely resolution of audit and risk findings.

Coach, mentor, and develop branch staff to improve performance.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years’ experience at Branch Manager level.

Strong leadership, business development, and sales skills.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong knowledge of banking operations, compliance, and risk management.
