Duties / Responsibilities
-
Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounts.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
-
Process VAT, WHT, and other statutory deductions.
-
Conduct bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
-
Support in budgeting, forecasting and cost analysis for sugar production.
-
Ensure compliance with TRA regulations and company financial policies.
-
Assist external auditors during audits.
-
Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills Required
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
-
Minimum of 2 years’ in Accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing/industrial settings.
-
Proficiency in accounting software such as ERP systems.
-
Good understanding of IFRS and Tanzanian tax laws.
