ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to manage daily fleet operations, ensuring vehicle availability, roadworthiness, efficient utilization, proper maintenance, driver compliance, cost control, and accurate fleet reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage daily fleet operations and vehicle utilization.

Ensure vehicles are roadworthy, maintained, insured, and registered.

Monitor servicing, repairs, fuel consumption, mileage, and fleet costs.

Supervise drivers, schedules, performance, safety, and compliance.

Monitor vehicle movements and coordinate vehicle allocation.
-
Manage garages, suppliers, insurers, and other service providers.

Investigate and report accidents, breakdowns, and vehicle damages and Maintain accurate fleet records and prepare performance reports.

Implement measures to reduce operating costs and improve efficiency.

Ensure compliance with fleet policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Transport & Logistics, Fleet Management, Business Administration, Automotive/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

5+ years’ experience in fleet or transport management.

Proven experience managing vehicles and drivers.
-
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, fuel management, and transport regulations.

Experience with GPS/fleet tracking systems and Microsoft Office.

Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
-
Valid driving licence required; mechanical knowledge is an added advantage.
