Role Purpose

The Audio Visual Production Specialist will conceptualize, produce, and manage high-quality audio-visual (AV) content for frontline support teams, customers, and the wider organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End AV Content Production

  • Manage the audiovisual production process from initial concept and scripting through to editing and publishing.
  • Ensure all outputs meet established quality, brand, and accessibility standards.
  • Develop content that effectively communicates information to the intended audience.

2. Learning Content Development

  • Design and deliver engaging training materials, including videos and screen walkthroughs.
  • Develop content to upskill frontline support teams.
  • Create customer-focused, self-service audiovisual resources.
  • Support improvements in the overall customer experience through effective learning content.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with trainers, customer and retail operations teams, and Customer Experience (CX) specialists.
  • Identify learning and content needs.
  • Translate identified needs into production briefs.
  • Ensure AV content aligns with strategic business objectives.

4. Asset Library Management

  • Maintain a well-organized and version-controlled library of modular AV assets.
  • Keep content current and accurate.
  • Ensure assets can be updated quickly when processes or business requirements change.

5. Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

  • Track content engagement and completion metrics.
  • Monitor assessment and learning outcomes.
  • Use performance data and feedback to refine content strategy and production methods.
  • Drive measurable improvements in learning outcomes.

Qualifications, Competencies, Knowledge & Experience

Candidates should have knowledge and/or experience in the following areas:

Learning Management Systems

  • Exposure to LMS platforms such as:
    • Cornerstone
    • SABA
    • TalentLMS
    • Moodle
  • Experience publishing SCORM/xAPI content is highly desirable.

Video Editing

Proficiency in video editing software such as:

  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Final Cut Pro
  • DaVinci Resolve

Screen Recording & E-Learning Tools

Experience with tools such as:

  • Camtasia
  • Articulate Storyline
  • Articulate Rise

Motion Graphics

Working knowledge of:

  • Adobe After Effects
  • Adobe Animate
  • Canva Pro

Audio Production

  • Microphone setup and recording.
  • Noise reduction.
  • Audio editing using Adobe Audition or equivalent Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) tools.

Accessibility

Understanding of accessibility standards, including:

  • Closed captioning using SRT/VTT.
  • Audio description.
  • WCAG compliance for video content.

Video Hosting & Distribution

Familiarity with platforms such as:

  • Vimeo
  • YouTube
  • SharePoint
  • Internal IPTV systems

Additional Production Skills

  • Storyboarding
  • Scriptwriting
  • Audio mixing
