2. Background

Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan), through its Empowerment through Skills Program (ESP), invites proposals from qualified Tanzanian consultancy firms to manage the ESP Graduate Innovation Fund.

The fund aims to support approximately 360 graduates through an initiative that provides grant management services and facilitates access to start-up equipment to support graduate innovation and enterprise development.

3. Scope of Work

The selected consultancy firm will be responsible for the following activities:

• Grant Administration: Manage the administration of the ESP Graduate Innovation Fund.

• Beneficiary Selection: Coordinate the selection of eligible graduates who will benefit from the fund.

• Procurement and Distribution: Manage the procurement and distribution of start-up equipment to selected beneficiaries.

• Financial Management: Oversee the financial management of the fund and ensure proper accountability for resources.

• Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor implementation progress and prepare the required reports.

The assignment will cover approximately 360 graduates over a period of 12 months.

• Maximum Consultancy Budget: TZS 175,000,000.
