Product Manager – Liabilities
Full-Time Position
Job Description
Product Development & Management
- Drive end-to-end product development initiatives for liabilities including idea generation, definition, design, validation to commercialization in line with the overall bank strategy
- Manage the pricing, profitability, and revenue for assigned product lines
- Manage income leakage issues by performing periodic revenue assurance exercises on all liability products
- Manage the customer experience process and turnaround time, customer value propositions that suit the needs and aspirations of the customer
Sales & Marketing
- Drive the sales and marketing agenda for liabilities through marketing communications campaigns and promotions
- Conduct staff training and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Perform competitive analysis and market research
- Lead process efficiency work streams and data mining to identify sales opportunities
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress dashboards
- Deliver liabilities and channels product performance reports in line with set targets on revenue and balance sheet
- Collect customer feedback through surveys, branches, and frontline teams
Digital & Process Improvement
- Support digitization initiatives and improvements to customer journeys
- Assist in testing new product features or system enhancements (UAT)
- Document customer journeys, workflows, and process maps
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 2 years’ banking experience, 1 of which should have been in products management or data analytics
- Proven track record in development and management of Banking/Financial services products
Knowledge & Skills
Technical Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of key product marketing principles
- Product and financial training
- Revenue generation initiatives
- Project management skills
Core Competencies:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Financial management and budget planning skills
- Good interpersonal skills necessary for collaboration with other teams for implementation of activities
- Team player and ability to work with minimum supervision
- Computer literate (MS Office Suite including MS Excel)
