Alfa Pharmaceuticals Limited, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Dar es Salaam, is inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Technician (Electrical/Mechanical) to join its Engineering Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.
- Operate and maintain utilities, including boilers and related equipment.
- Perform Gas SS (Stainless Steel) welding and fabrication works.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize production downtime.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, GMP, and company standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven hands-on experience in Gas SS (Stainless Steel) welding.
- Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance, safety, and utility systems (including boilers).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
