Position Overview
Bulyanhulu Gold Mine is seeking to recruit four Drivers to support safe and efficient transportation of employees to approved destinations.
The role requires strict adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Tanzanian traffic laws, while maintaining high safety standards and professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities
Safety & Compliance
- Identify, report, and address hazards on routes and within work areas
- Ensure zero involvement in accidents; report any incidents immediately
- Comply fully with PPE requirements at all times
- Follow all traffic rules and company SOPs (on-site and off-site)
Driving Operations
- Transport employees using assigned and approved routes only
- Adhere to speed limits, parking rules, and driving policies
- Follow night travel and break schedules as per company guidelines
- Maintain driver and passenger safety at all times
Vehicle & Task Management
- Conduct pre-start inspections before each trip
- Perform housekeeping before and after trips
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of luggage
- Apply safe manual lifting techniques
Reporting & Communication
- Complete and submit reports and feedback accurately and on time
- Conduct shift handovers and end-of-shift reviews
- Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors
Teamwork & Conduct
- Promote positive team participation and collaboration
- Ensure zero complaints from team members regarding conduct
- Demonstrate professionalism and customer service skills
Qualifications
- Ordinary Level Secondary Education Certificate
- Passenger Service Vehicle (PSV) Certification
- Valid Class C National Driving License
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience transporting passengers
- Experience with both manual and automatic transmission vehicles (including minibuses)
Skills and Knowledge
- Emergency procedures and incident reporting
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
- Driving induction and IN-THINK training
- Manual lifting and loading techniques
- VETA driver training
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication skills (English and Swahili)
- Time management and punctuality
- Hazard identification and risk assessment
- Customer service and conflict handling
- Valid site driving license (where applicable)
