🎯 Job Overview

The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for executing and managing procurement processes to ensure:

  • Timely acquisition of goods and services
  • Cost-effectiveness and quality
  • Compliance with organizational and donor regulations

The role supports both program and operational delivery while promoting transparency and accountability.

  • Reports to: Country Finance and Operations Manager
  • Supervises: Administration Officer

  • Plan and implement procurement activities
  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes:
    • Requisitions
    • Sourcing
    • Tendering
    • Evaluation
    • Contracting

βš–οΈ Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with:
    • Organizational policies
    • Donor regulations
    • Legal requirements
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation measures
  • Maintain procurement risk management plans

🀝 Supplier & Contract Management

  • Develop and maintain supplier database
  • Manage framework agreements
  • Monitor supplier performance and contract compliance
  • Negotiate pricing and delivery terms

  • Maintain accurate procurement records

  • Support internal and external audits

  • 4–6 years in procurement/supply chain
  • 2–3 years with NGO or donor-funded projects (preferred)
  • Experience in:
    • Tendering processes
    • Supplier and contract management
