As Mogo expands in Tanzania, the Operations Lead will play a critical role in building scalable systems and ensuring operational excellence from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
⚙️ Build Operational Discipline
- Supervise workflows across field and back-office operations
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Monitor key KPIs:
- Payment success rate
- Turnaround time
- Backlogs
- Error rates
- Coordinate across departments (sales, credit, customer care, collections)
📊 Create Scalable Systems
- Develop and refine SOPs based on real-world performance
- Identify and fix operational bottlenecks quickly
- Build reporting systems to support decision-making
🤝 Customer Experience & Quality Control
- Ensure efficient aftersales, repairs, and reverse logistics
- Manage escalations and maintain service quality
- Support training and compliance adherence
Requirements
💼 Experience
- 4–6 years’ experience in operations within:
- Fintech
- Telco
- PAYGO
- Asset financing or similar environments
🧠 Skills & Competencies
- Experience leading teams and driving performance
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Comfortable working with dashboards and KPIs
- High ownership and execution-focused mindset
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
