Role Overview
The Technology Delivery Manager leads end-to-end technology delivery across multiple Agile squads, ensuring:
- High-quality releases
- Smooth platform migrations
- Strong Agile/Scrum execution
This is a mid-to-senior technical leadership role combining:
- Project delivery
- Engineering coordination
- Agile coaching
Key Responsibilities
1. Agile Delivery & Scrum
- Lead Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
- Ensure:
- Well-defined user stories
- Proper estimation and prioritization
- Coach teams on Agile best practices
2. Platform Migration Ownership
- Manage complex migrations, including:
- Core system updates
- API upgrades
- Vendor transitions
- Cloud migrations
- Database changes
- Develop:
- Migration plans
- Dependency mapping
- Cutover and rollback strategies
3. QA & Release Management
- Oversee testing and quality assurance processes
- Track:
- Defects
- Test coverage
- Release readiness
- Ensure:
- Root cause analysis (RCA)
- Timely issue resolution
- Improve deployment and incident management
4. Capacity & Performance Tracking
- Manage team capacity across:
- Internal squads
- Remote teams
- Vendors
- Maintain dashboards for:
- Sprint performance
- QA metrics
- Migration progress
- Release readiness
5. Vendor & Procurement Support
- Support or lead:
- Technology RFPs
- Vendor selection
- Supplier coordination
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Computer Science
- Software Engineering
- Related field
Experience
- 5–8 years in:
- Technology delivery
- Technical project management
- Engineering roles
- 3+ years in:
- Agile / Scrum environments
Technical Requirements
- API & integration environments
- Platform migrations
- CI/CD pipelines
- QA/testing tools
- Tools like:
- Jira
- Azure DevOps
Preferred Background
- Fintech, telecom, or digital payments experience
- Agile certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe)
