MSI Tanzania is recruiting three Center Managers to be based in:

• Mwanza
• Arusha
• Makambako

These positions report to the Senior Center Manager and Director of Operations and focus on clinic performance, sustainability, and service quality.

Position Overview

The Center Manager will oversee the full operational, clinical, and financial performance of MSI health centers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Leadership

• Lead daily center operations to achieve performance targets
• Drive growth and productivity across teams
• Conduct staff coaching, supervision, and performance reviews
• Ensure effective execution of organizational strategies

---

2. Resource & Operations Management

• Manage human resources within the center
• Oversee supply chain and stock replenishment systems
• Prepare monthly financial plans aligned with MSI policies
• Ensure efficient use of operational resources

---

3. Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare KPI and financial performance reports
• Maintain accurate staff and client records
• Ensure compliance with:
  • Regulatory healthcare standards
  • MSI clinical quality requirements

---

4. Client Care & Quality Assurance

• Maintain high standards of infection prevention
• Ensure patient safety and quality of care
• Conduct client satisfaction surveys
• Strengthen customer service delivery

---

Minimum Requirements

Education

Applicants must have either:

• A recognized Medical qualification:
  • Medical Doctor
  • Clinical Officer
  • Nursing Officer

OR

• A Business-related degree with experience in health facility management

Experience

• At least 5 years’ experience in:
  • Clinical work OR health sector project management
• At least 2 years’ experience in:
  • Managing a health center or dispensary
• Proven experience in:
  • Meeting clinical quality standards
  • Building external partnerships

---

Key Skills

• Strong leadership and team management
• Financial and resource management
• Problem-solving and decision-making
• Understanding of healthcare systems and regulations
