Job Purpose

The Integration Specialist will manage, monitor, support, and optimize the Bank’s WSO2 integration platform to ensure secure and reliable integrations across enterprise systems and business services.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Platform Monitoring & Support

Monitor WSO2 components including:
- Enterprise Integrator
- API Manager
- Micro Integrator
- API Gateway
Ensure high availability of APIs and integration services
Track message flows, system health, and performance
Identify and resolve integration failures and bottlenecks proactively

Incident & Problem Management

Handle incidents, service requests, and problem tickets related to ESB operations
Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes
Ensure SLA compliance and timely issue resolution

Collaboration & Vendor Coordination

Work with:
- Application teams
- Infrastructure teams
- Network teams
- External vendors

API Deployment & Configuration

Support deployment and configuration of APIs and services on WSO2
Troubleshoot routing, mediation, and transformation issues
Validate XML/JSON payloads and integration flows
Ensure implementation of security controls including:
- OAuth2
- SSL
- API security policies
Support testing, UAT, and production releases

System Maintenance & Optimization

Perform backups, patching, and routine maintenance
Optimize APIs, connectors, and mediation flows
Manage logs, queues, and endpoints
Implement scalability and high-availability solutions

Documentation & Knowledge Management

Maintain integration and API documentation
Develop SOPs and knowledge-base materials

Qualifications & Experience

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in middleware/ESB support using WSO2
Experience in enterprise environments
