PROFESSIONAL NEEDED

• Position: Accountant

• Location: Union Meat Group

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant who will reports directly to the Finance Manager to join our finance team in a fast-growing meat processing and export business based in Dar es Salaam.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage day-to-day accounting entries and reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable functions.

• Maintain accurate inventory and cost accounting records.

• Support payroll processing and statutory compliance filings.

• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local tax regulations.

• Assist in audit preparation and financial controls.

• Track export-related costs and operational expenses.

What We Are Looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an advantage.

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in accounting (manufacturing, FMCG, or agro-processing preferred).

• Strong Excel and accounting software skills.

• Good understanding of cost accounting and inventory systems.

• High attention to detail and integrity.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
