Job Description

The Sales & Events Coordination Intern will support revenue growth through advertising sales, sponsorship acquisition, client relationship management, and coordination of events and activations for the Advertising Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities for advertising and event sponsorships.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients and partners.
  • Coordinate planning and execution of company events, activations, forums, and client engagements.
  • Prepare sales proposals, sponsorship packages, presentations, and event reports.
  • Work closely with Editorial, Marketing, Production, Digital, and Finance teams to ensure successful execution of campaigns and events.
  • Coordinate event logistics including venues, branding, suppliers, guest lists, and schedules.
  • Follow up on client bookings, artwork approvals, contracts, and payments.
  • Support achievement of departmental sales and revenue targets.
  • Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of sales and event activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, agencies, and corporate clients.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Business Managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, Event Management, Mass Communication, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales, advertising, events coordination, marketing, or client service.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Good negotiation and client relationship management skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office applications.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
