Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Lead recruitment and hiring processes across various departments.
- Identify and attract qualified candidates.
- Coordinate interviews and selection processes.
Employee Onboarding
- Manage onboarding programs for new employees.
- Ensure smooth integration of new team members into the organization.
- Facilitate orientation and induction activities.
Employee Relations
- Support employee engagement and workplace relations.
- Address employee concerns and promote a positive work environment.
- Assist in day-to-day HR operations and staff support.
HR Administration
- Coordinate employment contracts and related documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Policy Development & Compliance
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies and procedures.
- Support organizational compliance with employment regulations and internal standards.
Performance Management
- Support employee performance management processes.
- Promote accountability and continuous improvement across teams.
- Assist managers in monitoring employee performance and development.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Minimum 4 years of professional HR experience.
- Previous experience in:
- Hospitality
- Tourism
- Travel
- Service-related industries (preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Recruitment and selection
- Employee onboarding
- HR administration
- Employee relations
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Based in Zanzibar or willing to relocate to Zanzibar.
