Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Lead recruitment and hiring processes across various departments.
  • Identify and attract qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews and selection processes.

Employee Onboarding

  • Manage onboarding programs for new employees.
  • Ensure smooth integration of new team members into the organization.
  • Facilitate orientation and induction activities.

Employee Relations

  • Support employee engagement and workplace relations.
  • Address employee concerns and promote a positive work environment.
  • Assist in day-to-day HR operations and staff support.

HR Administration

  • Coordinate employment contracts and related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Policy Development & Compliance

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies and procedures.
  • Support organizational compliance with employment regulations and internal standards.

Performance Management

  • Support employee performance management processes.
  • Promote accountability and continuous improvement across teams.
  • Assist managers in monitoring employee performance and development.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should possess:

  • Minimum 4 years of professional HR experience.
  • Previous experience in:
    • Hospitality
    • Tourism
    • Travel
    • Service-related industries (preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated experience in:
    • Recruitment and selection
    • Employee onboarding
    • HR administration
    • Employee relations
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Based in Zanzibar or willing to relocate to Zanzibar.
