About St. Constantine’s International School (SCIS)
St. Constantine’s International School was founded in 1951 and is the oldest international school in Tanzania and the largest international school in northern Tanzania.
SCIS is a non-profit, non-denominational, co-educational day and boarding school offering:
- Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Cambridge International Programme (Years 1–9)
- Cambridge IGCSE (Years 10–11)
- Cambridge A-Level Programme (Years 12–13)
The school serves approximately 635 students from more than 30 countries, including over 90 boarders aged 9–18 years across three boarding houses.

Position Overview
SCIS is seeking a dynamic and committed professional to join its boarding team.
The successful candidate will:
- Support the day-to-day running of the boarding house.
- Work closely with students across primary and secondary age groups.
- Provide high-quality pastoral care and student welfare support.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive boarding environment.
- Support extracurricular activities and student development programmes.
- Work under the leadership of the Head of Boarding.

Requirements
Applicants should possess:
Essential
- Significant experience working successfully with young people.
- Passion for supporting and developing children and adolescents.
- Strong interpersonal and pastoral care skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Recent involvement in extracurricular activities.
Preferred
- Diploma or Degree in a relevant field.
- At least 3 years of experience in:
- Schools
- Boarding schools
- Social work environments
- Recent professional development relevant to student welfare or education.
