Project Sales Officer

Job Description

Drive growth and market leads of ALAF building solution as a business, accelerate the penetration of the products in order to achieve maximum levels of volume, revenue, yield and profit. Responsible for the successful drive of sales by identifying and managing customer accounts and opening of new markets as per customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively identify, engage in, and drive sale of Light Gauge Steel Trussing based on targeted customers

Closely work with architects, quantity surveyors, structural engineers from project design stage to create enquiries for our building solution products and convert into sales.

Generate BOQ’s from 3-D, 2-D drawings.

Identify and create opportunities and solutions in new markets

Create and daily update SPANCO

Develop and manage new building solutions sales within existing and new channels

Ensuring delivery of monthly volume targets for the Light Gauge Steel Trussing product, Value added products, Lifestile, Tekdek, Maxcover and structural steel.

Tracking of enquiry, conversion to orders and ensure timely billing to the customers

Follow up to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently and in a timely manner

Ensuring achievement of monthly collection targets.

Prepare daily market visit report and report on payment collection; inquiry/won project/Lost orders.

Develop relationship with the influencer community of Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Structural Engineers, Contracting Community and Key End-users.

Liaise with cross functional teams and partners to develop new propositions for targeted customers

Build go to market strategy for Building Solutions (traded and manufactured accessories)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree –Engineering in Quantity survey/Structural/Architecture/Technical Survey

  • Qualifications as an added advantage Postgraduate qualifications such as MBA or a Diploma is Sales and Marketing

  • Professional registration: Sales, Marketing or Engineering Bodies

  • 2 years in sales preferably in Steel Industry or Building/Construction Materials

  • Good negotiation skills and decision making

  • Excellent customer service

  • Good communication and listening skills

  • Problem solving skills

  • Ability to work long hours as and when required

  • Possess valid driving license
