Vacancy Title: Nurse
Job Details
A school nurse promotes and safeguards the health, safety, and wellbeing of students and staff. The role includes administering first aid, managing minor illnesses, maintaining confidential health records, facilitating emergency referrals to local hospitals, and supporting front desk administration as need arises.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A recognized Certificate/Diploma in Nursing from a credible institution.
- Valid professional registration and licensing with the relevant nursing authority in Tanzania.
- 3+ years of clinical experience, ideally in pediatrics, community health, or a school setting.
- First aid/emergency certification, fluency in English, strong clinical judgment, and high cultural sensitivity.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ICT skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to set a good moral example and foster physical wellbeing and spiritual development in learners.
