Job Overview

Lindi Graphite Technology Ltd is seeking a competent and experienced CNG Operations Engineer / Station Manager to oversee the safe and efficient operation of the CNG station. The successful candidate will support station commissioning, daily operations, maintenance coordination, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support commissioning, startup, and daily operation of the CNG station.
• Operate and monitor CNG compression, storage, dispensing, and gas delivery systems.
• Ensure compliance with HSE procedures, operational standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
• Manage CNG tube trailer filling, loading, and unloading operations.
• Oversee CNG vehicle refueling operations and ensure safe customer service delivery.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational records.
• Train and supervise CNG operators and station attendants.
• Ensure smooth station operations while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or other related engineering fields from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in CNG station operations, natural gas facilities, or related industries.
• Hands-on experience in:
  • CNG compressors and high-pressure gas systems.
  • CNG tube trailer filling and handling operations.
  • CNG storage cascades and dispensing systems.
  • CNG vehicle refueling stations.
  • Equipment troubleshooting and safe gas handling procedures.
• Experience in CNG station commissioning and startup will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of HSE practices and emergency response procedures.
